PULAU UBIN!

Ah, had CIP with little children today, from K1- P5. They were so small, so chubby, so cute! I can't believe i'm calling P4s and 5s cute, but they are. My grp was Shiying, Isobel, Jamie, Ben, i, and we were to take 2 P4s around the place. When we got to PU, they handed us 3 kids over - Brandon (P3), Jun Cheng (P4) and Marcus (P3). At the start of the trail, Mervin, a K1 kid came looking for his elder bro, Marcus, and he insisted on staying beside him. So we switched kiddos with another grp, and Brandon followed them.

Then at one pt of time, Mervin didn't want to behave so the teacher warned, "If you run you get lost how? Later Mas Selamat come and find you." Haha, that poor thing. And he always wanted ppl to carry him... i saw Edna, Shiying, Isobel, and the teachers doing that. Well, he had this "shuang" look on his face whenever he was off the grd. Sooooo cute, even though he's really naughty.

I got bullied by him! He sorta slapped me twice - one left side, then right. Shiying got hit even more times. I guess whenever he's comfortable with anyone, he'll start with his nonsense. Oh yes, not only didn't Marcus take care of him, but he treated him so badly. He smacked him on his head, and gave he's food to other ppl. And what's worse is, Mervin doesn't know his bro sets bad examples, so he does the same, only not as bad.

During the drawing competition, when we asked Mervin to draw a flower, he shrugged. A tree, he shrugged again. Bird or a rooster, he had no idea how to start. All he wanted was to draw a house, but he DON'T KNOW HOW EITHER. Haha. When he taught him how to draw a flower, Shiying guided his hands to draw a circle first, marking the middle of the flower. Then she focused on the petals, doodling ovals round the inner circle. She asked him to continue to complete the rest of the petals, but he kept going tracing the circle inside. Hahaha. Mervin kept holding on to orange (his favourite colour), so we were like, "Change colour! Change colour!" Hee, the pictures did turn out VERY colourful. We questioned him, "What colour do you want to use?" and he replied us with, "I want all." Haha, and he collected the markers to gimme one by one to tie them together. It was then, i got childish and a little cheeky, saying every time i picked a marker up, "Oh, still not enough? Okay, another one. Not enough? Another one! Another one!" And we laughed. He laughs so adorably!

Oh yes, he was fascinated by the camera, and he knows how to use it. OMG, smart boy. He only saw me click the button one time! Haha, he got carried away and started snapping shots of Ben, me, and his shoes. Lol. So cute. And if you promise him food, he'll be good:)

Okies, shall not talk any more abt him. Thr's this super duper handsome P1 guy, Zhi Wei! Haha, i usually used that name for my Chinese compos but i didn't expect to chance across someone with that name. He's so shy, and mischievous. Wayyyy kawaii. He didn't want to look into the camera... He purposely turned his back on us to spoil the picture. Funny.

Haha, almost all the kids are cute. I realised Brandon was studious. He seemed like the only one taking notes, but when he suddenly climbed on top of a rock, it scared us badly. The trip was fun fun fun! With the exception of 18 mosquito bites:X
