you're a mystery yourself

A few days ago, i watched a show on tv. Not sure what was it but it entertained me. It was a abt some chosen ppl that went up to space to destroy a really huge meteor that was heading for earth. There were lots of other ones but this very big one would affect the entire world, destructing and all the things living on it. Serious problem, huh? Ok, there was this man that was leading the team to outer space. He had a daughter who was a girlfriend of one of the men who's going for this mission, AJ. Well, the dad didn't like him and had second thoughts of him dating his daughter. But, the daughter really love him so he didn't want to interfere. Before going off to space, AJ promised his gf that he'll come back to marry her and promised her with a ring! And the dad also gave his word to come back and be back by her side since he's her only kin left (her mother broke ties with the family).

So, the journey begins... Lots of mishaps happened and it was rough and tough. Many died in the process. Towards the ending, there was a difficult problem. Slightly smaller meteors, a whole lot of them attacked them. They flew and hit hard, crashing into the equipments so they didn't have enough materials to finish their job. One member had to stay and start the bomb up to destroy the meteor, so they drew wires (like drawing straws). AJ iniated it and unfortunately, he was the one that had to do it. So, he went down the lift-like thing allowing the dad to follow him - he insisted.

When they got down, it all happened so fast. AJ was about to say goodbye. He told the dad to tell his gf he can't return. The dad nodded. Suddenly, AJ's so called protecting helmet had a hole (vacuum could enter and he'll suffocate). I'm not sure what exactly went wrong, though. The dad then stuffed a sewed-on-badge in the hole, telling AJ to give it to the general or smth (can't rmb. Just some impt. person), while he catches his breath. When that took place, dad pushed him into the lift and locked it. As AJ regains some of his consciousness, he cries and bangs the door... He shouted "No, it's MY job!" But dad told him firmly, "You take good care of my daughter. That's YOUR job!" Isn't that sweet? Aww... He gave his life to safe his future son-in-law, not to mention the ENTIRE WORLD!!

That's like my Abba Father, who gave his only son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross and carry the weight of our sins. And whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life! But God's love is much greater that of this man. This is just a show... A touching one ><'' Isn't this sacrifice that God made so lovely? I love you, Lord!! :D
